Trendsetters also got their fill of fashion Saturday in the Byward Market, where Scissors Hair Studio hosted its Vanity for Charity fundraiser for Child Haven International, a Canadian charity that helps women and children in India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Tibet. The evening featured an Ilkiz Boutique fashion show along with live and silent auctions, with organizers hoping to raise $10,000. Present were Child Haven's Bonnie and Fred Cappuccino, parents of 21 children (19 of them adopted from around the world). |
